History
- 1922
- Established a main factory in Oyodo Ward, Osaka City, with the aim of domestically producing pile fabrics.
- 1931
- Received designation from the Ministry of Railways as a supplier to Japan National Railways (currently JR).
- 1954
- Development of filament nylon moquette.
- 1956
- Development of Diabizon,
used as fake fur in fur coats. - 1959
- Development of etiquette brush products.
Obtained a total of 70 patents and utility models in Japan and overseas. - 1962
- Development of spun nylon moquette (co-developed with Toray Industries, Inc.).
Started deliveries to users including Teito Rapid Transit Corporation (currently Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd.). - 1963
- Tokyo office opened.
- 1973
- Started selling vacuum cleaner nozzle [Mira Cleaner®] using etiquette brushes.
- 1984
- Head office factory relocated to the current location in Suminoe Ward, Osaka City.
- 1988
- Started selling handy cleaning items [Pakupaku] using etiquette brushes.
- 1990
- Started selling [Best Trainer®] with self-cleaning function.
- 1991
- Developed recyclable seat cushion material.
- 2001
- Acquired international quality standard ISO 9001 (certified by head office/factory and Tokyo office).
- 2003
- Established Nippon Seal Hong Kong Co., Ltd.
- 2005
- Acquired international environmental standard ISO 14001 (certification for head office and factory).
- 2006
- Established Nippon Seal Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
- 2010
- Establishment of Wakayama Factory.
- 2013
- Established Nippon Seal Suzhou Co., Ltd.
- 2017
- Added ISO 14001 certification for the Wakayama factory.
- 2018
- Added ISO 9001 certification for the Wakayama factory.
- 2019
- Opened the Wakayama factory.
